Our Services

NewLeaf Recovery Services provides comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for opioid use disorder.

Suboxone supports recovery from opioid use disorder. This FDA-approved medication helps reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms. It can be prescribed in office-based settings like NewLeaf, allowing appointment-based care rather than daily clinic attendance. Services include prescribing, monthly visits, and drug screening. NewLeaf follows evidence-based MAT protocols from NIDA and SAMHSA. Our clinical team is being finalized ahead of our opening.

Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone) is an FDA-approved medication used to treat opioid use disorder. It's a form of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) that helps reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms. Buprenorphine is a partial opioid agonist, which means it binds to opioid receptors but produces less euphoria and lower risk of misuse compared to full opioids. Naloxone is added to deter misuse. Suboxone is not methadone. It is an office-based medication, prescribed at a clinic like NewLeaf during scheduled appointments rather than requiring daily visits to a specialized methadone clinic.
NewLeaf is designed as a Medicaid-focused clinic, with Medicaid enrollment completing ahead of our opening. Insurance participation is also expanding. Once we open, contact us to verify your specific coverage. Self-pay options are also available. Coverage details will be verified at intake, and our team will help you understand your benefits and payment options.
Request an appointment through our online form or by phone. Our team will guide you through the intake process, which includes assessment, consent for treatment, and service planning. Because NewLeaf is coming soon, appointment requests for our opening period are open now. When we open, same-day response to every inquiry will be our standard.
Yes. All patient records are protected under 42 CFR Part 2 and Michigan confidentiality rules. Disclosures require legal permission, rule requirement, or written patient release. Federal confidentiality regulations are stricter than general healthcare privacy rules and specifically protect substance use treatment records. Your information is secure and private.
You may file a complaint with NewLeaf directly or with Michigan LARA/BHDDA. Investigations begin within 72 hours, complete within 15 days, with written results within 30 days. We take all feedback seriously and are committed to resolving concerns promptly and fairly.
No. NewLeaf provides appointment-based care, not daily visits. Unlike methadone clinics that require daily attendance, Suboxone treatment at NewLeaf involves scheduled monthly visits. This makes treatment accessible for people with work, family, or other commitments. Your provider will determine the appropriate visit frequency based on your treatment plan.
Telehealth options may be available depending on your situation and Michigan regulations. Some patients can receive initial evaluations and follow-up visits via telehealth. Contact us to discuss whether telehealth is appropriate for your treatment needs. In-person visits are required for certain aspects of care.
