Suboxone (buprenorphine) will be prescribed by Michigan-licensed physicians (MD/DO), nurse practitioners (NP), or physician assistants (PA) who are DEA-registered and experienced in medication-assisted treatment (MAT). The clinical team is being finalized ahead of our opening.
Our prescribing providers will hold Michigan licensure (MD/DO/NP/PA), DEA registration for controlled substance prescribing, and experience in opioid use disorder treatment. Counselors and social workers will hold Michigan licenses in their respective fields. NewLeaf is pursuing facility licensure with Michigan LARA/BHDDA ahead of opening.
Continuity of care is the goal of our appointment-based model. Once you're established with a prescribing provider, you'll have scheduled monthly visits with that provider. Specific provider assignments will be finalized as the clinical team is completed ahead of our opening.
